Retention/Sales Executive for Successful City Client (Old street based) £21,000 - £23,000
Description:
As our Retention Executive you will provide a professional, first class level of customer service. Above everything, it’s about putting our customers at the heart of every decision you make, using your discernment to support them and provide advice.
This role will involve the retention of existing and new small and medium business customers. You will also be responsible for driving an increased conversion of profitable schemes in line with the current business model.
An interest in others and the skills to help people find solutions to the challenges they face are essential. You’ll have excellent communication skills over the phone and be comfortable overcoming objections.
The accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to:
• A blend of making outbound calls to and receiving inbound calls from existing customers
• Retaining customers by utilising listening & influencing skills
• Engaging with customers with regards to agreement, payment and termination queries as well as service and business reviews
• Managing and maintaining existing customer base and maximising revenue opportunities
• Establishing a thorough understanding of each customer’s requirements and situations to ensure you offer the best advice and services
• Meeting conversion and volume targets in line with the departments needs
• Applying a personalised and consultative approach to sales
• Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the core of each call
• Working within a team to meet and exceed team and office targets
Requirements:
• Proven track record as telesales representative or other retention/sales/customer service role, successfully closing sales and meeting sales quotas
• A highly motivated attitude to targets
• Goal orientated with a passion to succeed
• Career driven
• Professional and credible with excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Cool-temper and the ability to handle and overcome objections
• A broad understanding of how small and medium businesses operate
