A leading Management Consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support a global head in their City office.  This role requires a high level of autonomy and the capability to provide one‐on‐one support to an Executive who travels extensively and splits his time between the UK and US.

This is an extremely demanding role with high expectations, high workloads and ever changing priorities. You must therefore be flexible, reliable, confident, assertive and self‐assured. You must have a positive demeanor and remain calm and constant under pressure. This role will support the Global Head on a 1:1 basis who travels extensively and the demands of the business will sometimes require you to work outside the core hours at short notice.

Key EA duties:

  • Effectively build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders and ensure Executive is made aware of anything relevant
  • Diary management – manage schedule and provide briefing before meetings, able to gate‐keep and manage the expectations of others
  • Extensive email management – able to proactively manage emails and respond/ flag accordingly
  • Organise frequent, complex global travel itineraries and suggest agendas based on business needs
  • Event management – organise annual Away Day for over 100 US staff, coordinate schedule at other conferences
  • Prepare complex documents for Executive Committee and Board meetings etc.
  • Client management – able to liaise with clients on behalf of Executive, prepare engagement letters, open matters, issue contracts, client invoices etc.
  • Other admin such as time and expenses

This role is suited to someone who has experience of working at a senior level for at least 5 years within a corporate environment, preferably on a 1:1 Basis.  

 

This is a 9-12 month maternity contract, with interviews the end of January through to Mid-February and a start date of 1st March.
