Vauxhall, London, SW8

£28,142 per annum

One in six people in the UK will have a disability in their lifetime and we want to make sure they have the opportunity to live their lives to their full potential.

Leonard Cheshire Disability is the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people.  These services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects in the UK and internationally supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship.  In 2017 we launched our new strategy to radically improve the life choices of people with disabilities, articulating our aim to support journeys towards independence.

As PA to our two new Directorates – Partnerships and Transformation & Technology - you will organise and provide professional, proactive and comprehensive support, acting as the first point of contact for the two Executive Directors.  Through a bring-forward system you will ensure advance preparation for meetings so that the Directors are fully briefed and prepared.

You will develop and maintain effective office procedures and systems, handle enquiries, and maintain their diaries.  You will work closely and in cooperation with other members of the teams and with the PAs of other Directors.

The ideal candidate will have significant and demonstrable experience of working in a PA / administrative role directly supporting senior roles within a busy team.  You will be highly computer literate and extremely well organised with an excellent command of English.  You will demonstrate a confident manner in dealing with a wide range of people, have excellent interpersonal and team working skills and be able to meet often unexpected and very tight deadlines.  With flexibility to undertake a number of projects simultaneously and with your outstanding attention to detail, you will thrive in this busy role and be excited by this opportunity to make a difference to the lives of people with disabilities.

If you have a genuine commitment to the values and ethos of Leonard Cheshire Disability we look forward to receiving your application.

Leonard Cheshire Disability welcomes applicants from all sections of the community.

Closing date: 18th January, 2018.
