Global company, based near Harpenden, have an opportunity for an Office and Customer Support Co-ordinator. You will be working within a fast paced environment that will rely on your excellent customer service skills and ability to use your initiative on a daily basis:

Daily responsibilities are wide and varied, but central the role is a flexible and dynamic can-do approach which is key to the working principles of the team as a whole.

  • Supporting and developing office systems – Review and suggest improvements, however small, to enable the business to adapt and grow flexibly.
  • Supporting and developing customer relations, some international – Understanding customer specific requirements and ensuring method of work can be tailored to suit.
  • Providing core support to a number of operationally critical functions – Preparing quotations, invoicing and customer service in general.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate past success within a small company and have excellent working knowledge of retail/wholesale/distribution environments and above all, enjoy the routines and challenges that such environments present on a daily basis.

Experience in any area of non-food product area would be an advantage, as would familiarity with some logistics, but certainly not essential.  What is essential is the desire to support and improve the operation of the business and have fun in the process while working within a very friendly team.

Hours: 9am – 5.30pm
