Executive Brand Fashion Assistant
This is a full time and busy position for a highly educated well-spoken candidate with knowledge of and a keen interest in the fashion industry. We’re looking for a calm character with great attention to detail.
Experience working for a luxury/fashion brand, you will manage all brand partnerships, acting as day to day liaison, working closely to support the Style Director. Professionalism is key.
A skilled communicator, you will be nurturing and building relationships with relevant internal and external contacts.
You will be right-hand to the Principal, therefore always thinking ten steps ahead, so their day to day runs smoothly. You’ll be involved in many projects and be the lynchpin for this rapidly expanding business.
An organised individual you will support the Senior Business Executive Assistant and Private home office ensuring meetings are scheduled cohesively.
Responsibilities: -
- Manage and communicate with all brand partners on a daily basis to build long-term relationships and execute campaigns
- Plan and deliver social/fashion shoots for the principal and partners
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the fashion, beauty and life-style industries, staying abreast of the latest product trends & new brands
- A good knowledge of social media platforms, content creation and compiling long term posting strategies
- Work closely with PR agencies and marketing teams, attending all meetings and taking notes
- Budget management (pulling together budget reports for fashion shoots, raising purchase orders, tracking invoices)
- Booking glam teams and negotiating rates with agents
- Take a proactive approach to diary management, co-ordinating and prioritising meetings according to importance
- Booking & coordination of all business travel arrangements and work schedules abroad and in the UK
- To support the Principal’s wider team ensuring the smooth running of the department
- General administration such as post, booking taxis, arranging gifts/flowers, thank-you cards, updating contact lists, sourcing venues for meetings, fittings and events
- Work as a team player, building and maintaining positive relationships within the department and network across the brand
- Oversee and suggest magazine subscriptions and proactively research latest technologies relevant to fashion
- Manage time effectively including daily workload to accommodate ad hoc tasks
- International travel as and when required
Key Skills: -
- Previous EA/PA experience at an Exec level, ideally within the fashion industry
- A proven track record working with beauty/lifestyle/fashion brand partners and building long-term relationships
- Good negotiation skills
- An understanding of marketing, content and social media platforms
- Excellent communications skills, highly organised, having the ability to multi-task
- You must be confident yet personable, be able to work to ever changing deadlines
- Proficient in Apple Mac products, Excel, Outlook and Photoshop
- Tact and discretion, for dealing with confidential information
- Taking initiative and bringing suggestions and ideas to the table
- A confident and professional image, ensuring own attitude and approach has a positive impact on others
- Must be proactive, having the drive to succeed in a fast paced & demanding environment
- Flexible, adaptable and personable approach, able to liaise with high profile people at a senior level
- Self-starter, resourceful and able to find solutions
