Graduate HR Assistant for International Brand

Our client based in Birmingham is an international brand with a well known presence all over the world. An opportunity has arisen for an HR Assistant to join their expanding team. The role will be based at their beautifully refurbished, modern and trendy Birmingham office. The role will be varied and busy supporting the HR manager. Your role will entail

• To be responsible for all benefit administration across the business.

• Manage the company car scheme ensuring all records are updated in a timely manner.

• Ensure the benefits portal is running smoothly and highlight any process issues or discrepancies to our benefit broker.

• Responsible for the administration of the pension, ensuring contributions are accurate for all grades and managing the flow of data from payroll to the pension provider

• Manage relationships with third party providers ensuring they are up to date with key business changes and made aware of any issues.

• To update and maintain the P11D system in relation to all benefits in line with HMRC guidelines.

• Provide accurate reports for our tax department as and when required.

• To support with payroll administration. This includes, but is not limited to; running weekly and monthly reports, ensuring changes are processed and authorised on time, holding accurate time & attendance records.

• To ensure that the HR & Payroll system is up to date, accurate, and complies with legislation.

• To complete regular audits of filing systems within the HR Department.

• To prepare ad hoc reports for the HR team as and when required.

• To assist with project work as requested by the HR team.

Applicants must have previous HR experience with supporting qualification, ideally at degree level. This is a progressive role in a progressive environment so ideal for anyone with aspirations to become an HR Advisor.
