This is a fantastic opportunity for a true "people person", ideally with some Media experience, the ability to work effectively under pressure and a strong interest in entertainment journalism and popular culture!
No two days are the same within this busy Media PA opportunity where you will provide PA and secretarial support to a prominent Magazine Editor and team.
As well as lots of people contact, (including with celebrities and VIPs), there is a high degree of diary management, event administration and travel organisational working within a pressured environment, so it is essential that you have brilliant organisational talents and an eye for detail as well as a confident, willing personality.
In return, you will be well rewarded and appreciated within this popular and highly successful, long-standing media company.
Hours: 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday although flexibility is required.

To be successful in this Media PA role, you will have:
*Previous secretarial / office experience, ideally within a media environment
*Ability to liaise professionally, tactfully and diplomatically with VIPs and celebrities
*Interest in popular culture and entertainment journalism
*Advanced MS Office skills
*Good standard of education
*Excellent communication, both spoken and written
*Adaptable, hands-on and willing approach
*Warm, friendly personality
Key accountabilities within this Media PA role include:
*Answering calls and assisting with enquiries from readers and PRs
*Managing the Editor's diary
*Arranging business lunches and events on behalf of the Editor
*Arranging travel
*Booking cars for VIPs
*Assessing incoming press releases and mail for possible feature ideas
*Processing invoices and approving payments
*Assisting with event administration
*Conducting research
*Processing staff holiday requests
*Typing letters, memos, agreements etc
*Filing and document management
