Secretary £12ph - Temporary - Kings Cross, London

Our client are currently looking for an experienced Secretary to join their team on a temporary basis. They are an award winning, independent Chartered Building, Surveying and Project Management practice, in a fantastic central London location.

What does the role consist of?

  • Secretarial duties for 3-4 professional staff, from director to graduate surveyor level
  • Audio and copy typing, preparation of Word/Excel documents
  • Diary management for professional staff (as required)
  • Filing and Archiving
  • Answering/transferring incoming telephone calls
  • Dealing with incoming/outgoing post
  • Booking couriers
  • Ordering and maintenance of office supplies/equipment (in conjunction with other administrative staff)
  • Maintaining disbursements ledgers, company databases, etc.
  • Managing meeting rooms
  • Day to day office duties - photocopying, binding, keeping office tidy, going to bank and Post Office, etc.

What will the successful candidate be like?

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Personable and professional manner, ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and take initiative
  • High level of literacy/numeracy
  • Typing speed of 60+ WPM
  • Microsoft Word and Excel required to at least intermediate level
