Secretary £12ph - Temporary - Kings Cross, London
Our client are currently looking for an experienced Secretary to join their team on a temporary basis. They are an award winning, independent Chartered Building, Surveying and Project Management practice, in a fantastic central London location.
What does the role consist of?
- Secretarial duties for 3-4 professional staff, from director to graduate surveyor level
- Audio and copy typing, preparation of Word/Excel documents
- Diary management for professional staff (as required)
- Filing and Archiving
- Answering/transferring incoming telephone calls
- Dealing with incoming/outgoing post
- Booking couriers
- Ordering and maintenance of office supplies/equipment (in conjunction with other administrative staff)
- Maintaining disbursements ledgers, company databases, etc.
- Managing meeting rooms
- Day to day office duties - photocopying, binding, keeping office tidy, going to bank and Post Office, etc.
What will the successful candidate be like?
- Experience in a similar role
- Personable and professional manner, ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and take initiative
- High level of literacy/numeracy
- Typing speed of 60+ WPM
- Microsoft Word and Excel required to at least intermediate level
