Quality Checker and Proofreader

A Law firm based in the City is looking for an experienced Quality Checker for a newly created role within their document production centre.

This is an ongoing temporary role working on the mid-shift (1pm to 9pm) Monday to Friday ideally but they will consider other flexible hours as well.

As the Quality Checker you will have legal experience as you will be responsible for checking the quality of the work that the on and off shore teams produce, ensuring that all instructions given have been followed and the work is returned within the deadline.

• You will liaise with the team leaders to provide feedback on Operators work and to inform the client of any deadline extensions if required.
• You will proofread all work prior to delivering back to the client and incorporate minor amendments where required
• You will have great communication skills to be able to liaise with people of all levels from operators to team leaders and clients, having the confidence to suggest changes to the quality checking methods and deadlines where required.

This role requires a very keen eye for detail, and would suit someone who has worked in a document production centre, ideally as a proofreader/document producer.

The hours are 1pm to 9pm but there is room for flexibility for the right candidate.
