Fantastic London law firm with multiple international offices is looking to recruit a new Talent Development Manager.  This firm deliver a tailored learning journey and development programme, mapped to the competencies required for each career stage, with a number of core skills programmes provided at each level of development and elective modules that are mapped to their strategic aims.  In addition, the firm ensure the focus is on on-the-job learning, mentoring and coaching and the role will focus on furthering our strategy in this area, plus they are currently implementing a new Learning Management System that will help us further deliver the firm's objectives through supporting continuous learning.  Responsibilities include primarily the Partner and Associate Development with duties being to support the Head of Talent Development in the ongoing development of a suite of partner development programmes, including project management and ensuring application of learning, development and support of the Associate Development programme, including the Core Skills programme and role specific learning and development, management of the Associate Learning Journey, including the relevant Core Skills and Elective programmes, participation in Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) group to implement Knowledge and Learning initiatives (such as working with other groups to implement effective means of sharing learning, ensuring the effective design and delivery of technical training and review of external legal providers) and training needs analysis and evaluation of ongoing training programmes.  Additional responsibilities includes the training of business service staff, firm-wide support for new joiners and talent development initiatives in conjunction with supporting your Talent Development Team.  Applicants require strong previous Learning & Development experience, strong interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with people at all levels, offer excellent written communication skills – able to devise training plans and case studies, be client focused and responsive to client needs, have the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate both internally and externally and have the proven ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish .  Previous legal experience is desirable.  Standard hours are 9:30  -17:30.
