Leading financial institution in the heart of Canary Wharf is looking for an Administrator with a strong financial working background.

What does this job involve?

Our managing director and the heads of our departments (HoDs) are supported by an executive assistant, personal assistants and administrators.
 

Purpose of the role

As an Administrator you will work closely with teams and managerial staff. You will help teams ensure their work is well-organised and supported. This role involves working effectively as part of the PSR administration team to ensure that a professional administration service is delivered.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Provide general administrative support
  • Organising meetings and minute taking
  • Providing recruitment and HR support
  • Organising travel
  • Record management including maintaining a manual/electronic filing system
  • Diary management
  • Organise travel
  • Inbox management
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with other teams, PAs and administrators
  • Deal with highly confidential information in a secure and controlled manner

 

Requirements:

Minimum

  • Proven experience of working as an Administrator.
  • Administrative qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Enthusiasm to get things done
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills
  • The role requires you to have access to sensitive and confidential information. Maintaining security, trust and confidentiality of information is of paramount importance in this role
