Our client, an international bank based in the City have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to organise and oversee all activities that enables the smooth running of the office. This organisation, is known for its understanding and flexible attitude towards employees and are open to either working 3 days a week or perhaps 4 days but with shorter hours.

The ideal candidate will have experience within facilities,idealy within financial services, be enthusiastic and extremely well organised.

Responsibilities

  • Management of one team member
  • Work in conjunction with the IT department on the implementation of new office systems
  • Arrange for health and safety equipment to be tested on a regular basis
  • Review and update Health and Safety policies and provide introductory Health and Safety training to new members of staff
  • Liaise with the management team to review office performance/investigate availability and suitability of options for new premises
  • Plan best allocation and utilisation of space resources for new buildings and reorganise current premises
  • Plan for future developments in line with strategic business objectives
  • Prepare tender documentation for external contractors.
