A large EU Agency based in Canary Wharf are looking for a Bilingual Scientific Administrator to join their Document Access and Publications team on a 12 month interim contract to start as soon as possible. You will play a key role in shaping the work of a new initiative to increase transparency of access to clinical data used by the Agency to form its opinions.

You will:
- Be responsible for co-ordinating all elements of an access to documents request and/or redaction consultation phase of the policy
- Be responsible for evaluating redaction of Personal and Private Data (PPD) and Commercially Confidential Information (CCI) in documents subject to Access to Documents requests or Pro-active publication of Clinical data
- Contribute to prepare, update or maintain of guidance, identify and select content for redaction and perform part or all of the task required
- Be responsible for interacting with stakeholders and ensuring an overall quality experience and satisfaction for each individual case that you deal with
- Act as the first point of contact or Help Desk requests that may come from members of the public, academia, the press or pharmaceutical companies
- Monitor and manage concurrent requests and their deadlines
- Ensure documents and correspondence have been saved/archived according to internal process
- Ensure tracking of access to documents requests or redaction consultation phase of the policy is up-to-date
- Be responsible for answering requests for information according to skills and knowledge
Profile:
- Fluency in English and another EU language
- Degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills to liaise with stakeholders
- Understanding of Marketing Authorisation Applications
- Scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical safety and efficacy
- Understanding of the content of Clinical Study Reports
- Experience of interacting with the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to work to tight legal deadlines managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced IT skills
- Fluency in English and at least one other EU language -Spanish, Czech, Danish, German, Estonian, English, French, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Slovakian, Finnish, Swedish, Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Norwegian, Icelandic
