Assistant Head Gardener - South of France

Fabulous opportunity for an experienced Assistant Head Gardener with proven experience to live and work in the South of France.
 
My client has a home in the region with extensive gardens and is looking for a fit, professional, knowledgeable Gardener to join a professional team consisting of French and English nationals. You must be able to understand and interpret instructions in both English and French and have advanced technical and practical training in horticulture with practical planting or landscaping experience. Previous gardening experience to include plant, pest and disease, rose culture and pruning, vegetable and fruit culture, propagation and olive and citrus culture. You will also have knowledge of horticultural machinery, a strong technical understanding of soil management and previous experience of using relevant hand tools. You must be able to perform physically strenuous work in a warm climate and have strong interpersonal and team skills. You will also have a clean EU driving licence.
 
The role is permanent and is with an immediate start subject to thorough referencing. You will be employed under a French contract and paid in Euros. A really wonderful opportunity to join a very professional team.
