Join our events team as an Event Planner with responsibility for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of events supporting Anaesthetists at all stages of their careers. Responsible for all aspects of event management, the role includes logistics, marketing, sponsorship management, administration and budgeting.

Working with on of the Royal Colleges in London, this is a chance to get involved in upcoming events and functions and be part of a supportive and sociable team who prides themselves on excellence and an untarnished reputation.

Who will you be working for?

Based in Central London, you will be working with one of the most respected and recognised Royal Colleges in London. The company is steeped in history with its beginnings dating back to the 17th Century. Their modern office overlooks a stunning square set back from the busy main street, where you will find most office workers enjoying their lunch hour on the grass. Excellent transport links, central location and an excellent company, you're in luck!

As one of the Royal Colleges in London, their focus is on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector. They are an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the U.K.

What does the role consist of?

The role offers a high level of autonomy and would suit a confident Event Planner who is keen to work under your own initiative and play an active part in driving improvement.

As a Royal College we offer a wide range of educational events, from simulation-based training days to lecture-based conferences. Our events are aimed at doctors in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine with attendance ranging from 20 to 350 delegates. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, forward-thinking team at an exciting time as we implement our new education strategy.

What will the successful candidate be like?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Planner with a passion for events and proficient in successfully managing multiple projects at the same time. As a team we are pro-active, professional, calm and confident with an organised outlook and hardworking attitude, and are looking for a like-minded colleague ready to deliver a world-class programme for our members.

The role would be ideal for an Event Planner with 1-2 years' experience or a competent well-rounded administrator or assistant looking to take on more responsibility.
