Top International law firm based in the city is looking to hire a new Learning & Development Administrator on a permanent basis to support to the L&D Team in the form of  providing administrative support, booking external courses, updating websites, through to helping with the promotion of training and liaising with a variety of different training contacts.  Responsibilities will include providing administrative support in the organisation of in-house seminars and client events and ensuring the smooth running of courses/events on the day. This includes booking rooms, sending calendar invites and reminders, preparing sign-in sheets, printing materials and liaising with relevant support functions (e.g. speakers, reception, catering and audio visual), preparing and sending out electronic and hardcopy evaluation requests, collating feedback and passing on comments to speakers, taking responsibility on a daily basis for responding to telephone or email queries and escalating these as appropriate, maintaining records for various types of information including budget spend and documents and emails, organising bookings for external legal training courses and sending confirmation emails, helping to coordinate the induction/ training programmes for the trainee intakes, liaising with training institutions and providers regarding training courses, assisting with the promotion of training through various communication channels e.g. intranet, firm wide emails and at one-to-one, assisting with maintaining and editing internal and external learning and development websites and organising weekly team meetings, preparing agendas and taking notes of key action points. Candidates need to be degree educated and have strong Administration experience.  Candidates must be confident, enthusiastic and proactive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Standard working hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm.
