A leading global technology company requires an experienced Executive Assistant to provide close and trusted support to their VP of Sales and his direct reports. This is a new role and the successful candidate will be a highly organised and driven individual who is able to challenge the status quo, and is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as right-hand person to the VP, and the eyes and ears of the business
  • Screening all incoming communications to the VP Sales, filtering and dealing with general enquiries and prioritising issues that need urgent attention by the VP Sales
  • Extensive diary management across different time zones
  • Complex global travel arrangements and expenses
  • Preparing presentations, letters, memos, contracts, reports, and charts using appropriate software
  • Managing highly confidential information discretely
  • Managing the orientation process of new Sales staff to maximise the ramp-up of new individuals to the sales organisation
  • Proactively monitoring and updating actions to ensure deadlines are met
  • Developing and implementing administrative systems and processes that enhance the efficiency, collaboration and effectiveness of the Sales Division.
  • Facilitating the development and delivery of the Sales annual budget input
  • Tracking costs against budget month on month
  • Ensuring Sales leaders are fully briefed on their budget and all relevant PO activity.
  • Working closely with the Finance VP to review monthly budget activity to ensure any discrepancies are addressed and historical PO's closed.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience supporting senior level executives within a global organisation
  • Ability to work independently, with very little supervision and direction
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Good computer, Word, PowerPoint and project management software skills.
  • A confident communicator at all levels
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
  • Confident, professional manner and a strong customer focus
  • Ability to use independent judgement to make decisions
