Job title: Legal Secretary – Commercial Litigation

Location: Cannon Street, London

Salary: £35,000

Skills and experience: One year as a legal secretary in any area of commercial litigation

Exciting opportunity for a legal secretary with only a years’ experience to join an established London firm, which is based in stunning offices very close to Cannon Street. You will be assisting just two partners and so this is an ideal opportunity a legal secretary who is looking to take on more responsibility in a small team. The partners deal exclusively with commercial litigation work and they would like a secretary who has previous experience dealing with litigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Diary management – this will be a very large part of the role
  • Client liaison – taking messages, dealing with enquires, responding to correspondence etc.
  • Typing and document management including audio typing and digital dictation
  • Arranging meetings, booking rooms and managing appointments
  • Organising all travel including visas, currency, hotel bookings etc.

You must have at least one years’ experience as a legal secretary dealing with commercial litigation, a flexible and proactive approach to your work and strong organisational and timekeeping skills.

The offices are close to Cannon Street and so a good location for anyone commuting into Cannon Street or Fenchurch Street. This role is ideal if you have been working as a legal secretary in a local / regional firm and now want to make the move to a London practice as the work environment is very friendly and supportive.
