Business & Private PA to Managing Director – Buckinghamshire

A rare and sought after role has arisen for a polished and experienced PA with a hands-on approach.  The role is very practical sorting out the day to day needs and requirements of this extremely busy high-level individual.   

Total confidentiality and discretion is an absolute must and a calm and professional approach is essential.  10 - years’ experience ++ as a Business & Private PA, experience in the Property Investment/Development sector is desirable as is a degree level of education.

The successful candidate needs to be mature and a great communicator, with impeccable English grammar & spelling, and with experience in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.   You will need to be resourceful, tenacious and have initiative in abundance !

Experience in the property sector would be beneficial.

Tasks include:


Manage an extremely busy diary effectively, in which there are conflicting demands on the            directors' time, ensure meetings are not missed and that all meetings are prepared for, make last-minute changes on occasions
Minute taking and process the notes in a structured and effective way
Process, categorise and account for  expenses
Organise  travel arrangements, and visas
Organise, arrange and flag emails based on relevance and urgency, and manage replies
Act as a gatekeeper and main point of contact to effectively prioritise meetings and communication requests
Manage external relationships
Project management and research

Audio typing
Organisation of large and small scale events which includes managing budgets and reporting, sourcing venues, invitations etc

Overlap with the Charity


Extensive private work, including sourcing restaurants and booking private parties, taking care of birthdays and special occasions, personal shopping, booking family holidays, liaison with legal, tax and accountants.  Liaising with household staff, overseeing some refurbishment works (liaising with Interior Designer) to the family home, dealing with trades and suppliers, checking and paying household invoices and flagging up any issues.
