THE COMPANY:
Our client are a leading international law firm based in Central London. They are a company that offers advice on all legal matters for corporations, financial institutions and governments. They are currently recruiting for a Corporate PA for a fixed term contract of six months.


THE ROLE:
  • Taking ownership of enquiries, resolving or escalating as appropriate
  • Produce long, accurate complex house-style documents, manuscript amends, audio dictation and document comparisons
  • Building relationships with the fee earners’ clients and their PA’s
  • Producing E-bulletins and iPublish communications
  • Diary management - arranging meetings, conference calls, lunches etc.
  • Build a network of strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Taking accurate and detailed telephone messages, ensuring these are passed on in a timely manner
  • Keeping accurate records of expenses/disbursements/fees for client billing
  • Regular maintenance of filing systems, e-filing, and archiving and retrieval of files from store and opening new matter files
  • Liaising with the billing department to monitor payment of fees
  • Providing cover for others within the team as and when required
  • Organise travel arrangements (including flights, accommodation and restaurants) and providing the fee earners with detailed itineraries
  • Preparing and producing bills
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required
 
THE PERSON:
  • Previous Legal PA experience
  • Accurate typing at minimum 60 wpm net
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent secretarial skills, with fast accurate typing
  • Keep a level-headed approach in a busy working environment
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Client orientated approach
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Flexible with working overtime when required
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Minimum 5 GCSE's or equivalent at A-C including English and Maths
