This ER / Compliance Analyst position is a newly created role designed to drive and support HR compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory, legal and policy requirements across Europe. This role will be working within the HR function within the Employee Relations team providing central oversight and guidance on areas of risk, compliance requirements and effective governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and drive the development of an effective HR compliance & governance strategy across the business
  • As part of the Employee Relations Centre of Expertise ('CoE'), a reputable point of contact for the development and delivery of Employee Relations solutions, providing guidance, advice and effective resolution of issues
  • Proactively identify key areas of risk through audit activities and development of a deep understanding of on the ground process/practice through relevant HR and operational teams
  • Advise on and develop effective compliance, governance and escalation processes
  • Collaborate with appropriate HR colleagues and operational partners to implement any remedial actions and changes to policy/process
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and operational partners to develop tools to measure the effectiveness of changes to policy/process in maintaining compliance
  • Develop central compliance reporting capability and a regularly updated risk register
  • Ensure that issues and trends are effectively measured, reported on and analyzed for intervention or continuous improvement purposes
  • Lead and support business planning for future legal or organizational developments
  • Partner with HRBPs and key business stakeholders to drive good practice and compliance through knowledge-sharing, education, up-skilling, coaching, interventions and continuous improvement
  • Ensure high risk issues are appropriately escalated within the business
  • Liaise effectively with legal counsel, externally and internally
