Accountant, ACA

Our client, an International Service provider are seeking a newly qualified ACA to work with their global team on the Navision implementation project. In addition to the responsibilities listed below, the successful candidate will be able to participate in set up, codification, historical and current record processing and draft preparation of accounts as well as budget system development and the underlying databases.

If you would like to work with an experienced, skilled, senior team, this fantastic opportunity will suit you. The role is based at their beautiful Cyprus office and is a fixed contract for 6 months. There is potential within the firm to progress to a permanent position, for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:

• Performance of bank and other reconciliations and bookkeeping
• Maintain client, contract and supplier data
• Accurate and timely document management and recording of transactions
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Liaising with clients or external suppliers

The successful candidate will be University educated and be fluent in written and spoken English; French or Greek are useful. You will be able to work with speed and accuracy, be results driven and computer literate, particularly in databases and any accounting systems. Good use of Microsoft packages is key.
