Customer Service Receptionist
Hays Office Support have the pleasure of representing a UK-based family business, drawing on four generations of tea blending and tasting experience.
The company have a passion for the finest tea and are dedicated to the unique place that tea drinking commands at the heart of daily life in Britain and beyond.
An exciting new opportunity as arisen for an experienced Customer Service Receptionist to join the team.
Customer Services duties (2/3 of time)
- Receive customer orders, process on ERP, ensure timely delivery & troubleshoot.
- Liaise with accounts, warehouse and field sales staff
- Input orders onto transporters online systems, book collections
- Check transporter invoices for accounts
- Online shop - manage stock, reply to email queries, questions and comments
- Telephone sales to existing UK retail customers
- Send new product 'mail outs' using mail merge to Account Manager's customers
- Send new lead letters for Account Manager and follow up
Receptionist duties (1/3 of time)
- Answer the phone
- Sort incoming/ outgoing post & packages
- Receive visitors
- Contact warehouse staff for deliveries or pick ups
- Keep Reception, Post Room and Meeting Room tidy and well organised
- Order Stationery
- Send Samples
- Organise Sample Room
- Help other Departments when required
Experience & Skills Required
- Competent in MS Office and sufficient level of computer literacy
- Experience in communicating and handling both business customers and end consumers
Character Profile

- Professional, polite and clear speaking telephone manner
- Organised and able to prioritise work
- Able to multi-task, and work under pressure / deadlines
- Helpful and approachable disposition
- Common sense / pragmatic
Hours
- Mon - Thurs 8.30pm - 5.00pm (45 Minute Lunch)
- Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (30 Minute Lunch)
