THE COMPANY:
A global, award winning Architectural firm based in the West End have an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Office Manager/PA to join their team.
THE ROLE:
- Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationary and equipment
- Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs as and when required
- Taking management of the shared office scheme
- Identifying priority areas and instigation of projects and developments
- Project management of repairs and any office changes
- Manage Fire Alarm systems and fire risk assessments, ensuring action is taken to mitigate risks and all corrective and preventative action of issues arising
- Keep an accurate record of all office expenditure and managing the budget
- Organising regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices
- PA team management duties including carrying out team appraisals, probation period reviews and approving holiday requests
- Managing the H&S policy, procedures and risk assessments, ensuring action is taken to mitigate risks and all corrective and preventative action of issues arising
- Proactively keep up-to-date with all legislation ensuring compliance to all standards and laws
THE PERSON:
- Must be available immediately
- Have experience in organising projects, from start to finish
- Be an excellent team player and problem solver
- Previous experience of old building maintenance
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have a proactive and personable attitude
- Previous experience of working under pressure and being able to manage own workload as well as supervising others
- Possess strong project management skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to stick to any given deadlines
- Strong time management skills
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office
