One of our top clients based in the city are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the VP of Sales and the wider Sales Leadership Team with project support. This is a permanent position so a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door and develop in a great company.

They are a Global Satellite Telecommunications Company who are growing rapidly and truly value their staff.

The successful candidate will have experience ideally working within a sales team to have a good working knowledge of the speed and efficiency of how they work.
It is essential that you are used to working in a demanding environment and have the ability to support a small team and multitask.

Key responsibilities:

* Screen all incoming communications to the VP Sales, filter and deal with general enquiries and prioritise issues that need urgent attention by the VP Sales
* Serve as the conduit within Sales, and right-hand person to the VP, and the eyes and ears of the business
* Balance day to day project improvement activities with one-on-one support to the VP, Sales
* Prepare presentations, letters, memos, contracts, reports, and charts using appropriate software
* Manage highly confidential information discretely
* Manage calendars, coordinate travel and prepare expense reports
* Make meeting arrangements and coordinate changes in meeting schedules
* Develop and implement administrative systems and processes that enhance the efficiency, collaboration and effectiveness of the Sales Division. Measure results against standards; making adjustments where necessary.
* Facilitate the development and delivery of the team Sales annual budget input
* Tracking and report against budget month on month
* Ensure Sales leaders are fully briefed on their budget and all relevant PO activity.
* Work closely with the VP to review monthly budget activity to ensure any discrepancies are addressed and historical PO's closed.
* Monitor, report and follow-up key milestones and actions relation to strategic Sales Team initiatives.
* Proactively monitor and update actions to ensure deadlines are met; highlight red flags and identify gaps and source solution or escalate when necessary.
* Manage the orientation process of new Sales staff to maximise the ramp-up of new individuals to the sales organisation
* The successful candidate will need to have the ability to work well under pressure, adapt quickly to their surroundings and possess an excellent attention to detail. You will need to have strong MS Office skills and be extremely organised.
