Customer Service Advisor, £20k, Cambridge

Term time is just around the corner - and they need your help immediately! Their Cambridge campus is about to get a whole lot busier with new students about to enlist on a wide range of courses and programmes. This role is based within the operations department as a Customer Service Advisor to help with operations of excellent facilities to students, customers, visitors and staff. What does the role consist of?

The purpose of the role is to support the busy local campus, which primarily offers law courses to it's students, and to ensure a seamless approach to customer service at the study centre. This is a customer facing role based where you will have plenty of student engagement and team support from the tutors and course coordinators. In this role, you will support the small team of 10 providing administrative and facilities support. Some of your duties will include:

  • Responding to student and client enquiries.
  • Provide an excellent front of house experience for all students and visitors
  • Build close relationships with students, maintain excellent product knowledge and sue this to advise students on their options
  • Provide support for various university events
  • Ensure all course registers are input into the relevant system
  • Provide classroom support including room set up and furniture configuration
  • Act as health and safety contact, first aider and chief fire marshall

This is a full-time permanent position. The study centre is open 7 days a week, and you will be expected to work 5 of those days, with one of the days being a Saturday or Sunday. If you prefer to work both weekend days, that can be arranged for the right candidate.
