Events Coordinator

Internationally focused law firm seek Events Coordinator for their busy London office. You will be required to provide an efficient and professional Events service to all clients (internal and external); ensuring the provision of an exceptionally high standard of service. Based in the events team, you will be supporting the team with the managing of events and client seminars, communicating with partners, internal groups and external providers.

Events Co-ordinator

The successful candidate will be a confident, proactive individual who is prepared to take a hands-on approach using their own initiative. Experience in a legal environment or similar essential.

Events Co-ordinator

A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Further training will be provided where necessary. Ability to communicate effectively (written, spoken and presentational), working well within a team. A willingness to provide feedback, share information and contribute ideas and suggestions as necessary. Excellent proven organisational skills. Ability to multi-task and keep calm under pressure. Excellent attention to detail and grammar. Ability to build strong business relationships with internal and external clients and the resilience to deal with demanding individuals.

Events:

DUTIES:

  • Managing and coordinating room bookings for events.
  • Attending meetings.
  • Liaising with organisers of events (both internal and external).
  • Liaising with support staff such as Catering, Porterage, Audio Visual and Security.
  • Setting up rooms.
  • Meeting and greeting clients.
  • Collating invitation replies and guest list management.
  • Producing seminar material.
  • Name badge, dinner place card and menu preparation.
  • Data input using the Firm's database.
  • Ensuring Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board Scheme requirements are met and accurately recorded on the Firm's database.
  • Producing evaluation feedback.
  • To advise and ensure correct Health & Safety and contingency procedures are adhered to during event execution.
  • Some elements of the role require manual handling in respect of furniture and equipment.
