Bid Coordinator/Team Administrator, up to £29k, Euston London
With a busy period of upcoming projects and proposals on their hands, this organisation is on the lookout for an experienced Bid Coordinator to join their team for an immediate start. Who will you be working for?
Our client is an independent planning, impact assessment, landscape design and ecology consultancy with the industry, working across the UK and internationally. With a track record of over 50 years and a team of over 125 skilled professionals, they bring a passion for the environment and a determination to achieve sustainable development on behalf of their clients.
What does the role consist of?
This role is the support a mixture of landscape architects, landscape engineers and consultants in the team to provide comprehensive general administrative and secretarial support to the technical teams in the London office. You will help with pulling bids together including written content, formatting and proofreading and coordinate the technical staff to ensure that deadlines are met. You will be supervising the Team Administrator to make sure that tenders and submission are progressing in a timely manner. You will be involved in project-set up, getting into projects and maintaining the tender checker tracker. You will monitor the development of the projects and reminding and chasing team members as appropriate.
What will the successful candidate be like?
You should have high attention to detail and be confident. All round administrative experience and communication skills is vital to succeed in this role. You should have previous tender/bid experience or experience within project management within a similar industry. You need to be able to work to strict deadlines and be able to deal with people at all levels within the business.
