Global Management consultancy has an opportunity for a Senior Learning Specialist based within their London Head Office. As part of the highly regarded UK & Ireland Office Learning team you will be responsible for the full design and delivery of local learning programmes for employees on the consultant track, from new joiners to senior Partners. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about leveraging their experience in L&D to drive forward a demanding people agenda against a backdrop of significant growth and diversification of consultant talent pool. Your duties will be vast and varied:
- Working collaboratively with the Head of Learning, provide oversight for the office’s Learning agenda.
- Programme design and content development, including reviewing and refining existing curriculum, and working with subject matter experts to develop new content.
- Manage programme delivery, including qualifying participants, recruiting faculty, occasionally serving as faculty, taking an active role in pre and post programme outreach, overseeing logistics, managing programme finances, collecting, evaluating, communicating and acting upon feedback.
- Develop learning strategy and plans, including defining learning needs, forecasting demand for future programmes, developing learning calendars and journeys for specific groups of learners.
- Collaborate with learning professionals in other offices, practices, regions and Firm roles, as well local Professional Development and HR colleagues in order to drive content design, leverage existing content and share best practice.
- Contribute to and lead ad-hoc learning and department projects and initiatives.
- Coach junior team members and support team learning sessions as needed.
The role would suit a seasoned L & D professional who is familiar with working with diverse employee profiles, is strategic mined within a firm with ambitious and exciting growth plans, enjoys enabling and driving change and is able to communicate effectively with senior partners.
Skills & Expertise
- University degree.
- L&D experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of programme design, delivery and facilitation skills.
- Outstanding project management, organisational and administrative skills; ability to prioritise multiple streams of work independently and to tight deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure.
