Immigration Paralegal at Top City Law Firm to £35,000

Leading UK law firm is needing to recruit a hardworking and bright paralegal to join their immigration team.  This role will be a high level position, predominantly working on inbound and outbound cases, looking after Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 5 applications in relation to high net worth individuals in addition to corporate/business matters.  Responsibilities will include entry clearance, fast-track PEO applications, booking appointments for biometric attendance, ensuring correct process and fee payment, assessing required documentary support and eligibility, drafting forms, arranging in-person attendance at the PEO, sponsor licensing, COS preparation, requesting and reviewing initial information and documents, legal research into primary and secondary sources of law, financial administration.  Other duties include assisting partners and associates in background research and the preparation of business development materials.  Candidates need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Paralegal within an Immigration department and experience undertaking research thoroughly and accurately and to understand legal principles and someone who has fantastic organisational and communication skills.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm.
