If you have at least three months experience working in legal archiving or a facilities based role within a law firm and five good GCSE's at grade C or above then our client would like to hear from you. Based a short walk from either Farringdon or Barbican tube station our client is a well-known UK based law firm with a prestigious history and an unparalleled level of success in their relevant field of law.

They are currently looking for an archiving assistant to join them on six month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. The successful applicant would assist with a firm-wide file destruction project reviewing the firm's files for the retention of destruction, updating the firm's matter management system, scanning and filing and providing updates to the firms' archivist.

The archivist position will include lifting and so there is a manual aspect to it, our client would also require people who are motivated and with good attention to detail. You will be working alongside another more established archivist who will oversee your day-to-day schedule and provide training where necessary.
