Our client, a leading Accountancy and Advisory firm with offices in the heart of the City, is seeking a social and politically aware Executive Assistant to support their Managing Partner.

This is a fantastic, diverse role, combining the full range of PA support with the role of Researcher, monitoring the impact of the current political and economic environment on the firm.

Supporting the Managing Partner as Executive Assistant, you will act as first point of contact and gatekeeper, managing diaries and booking internal and external meetings, as well as assisting with the preparation of speeches and presentations for events, and preparing agendas and minute taking at a wide range of committees and meetings.

We are seeking a candidate with strong creative skills, as you will be heavily involved in preparing documents required to relay the Board's strategic vision to the wider firm. Accuracy and attention to detail will also be key, as you will organise and collate paperwork for key review meetings.

As Researcher, dealing with Public Affairs, you will monitor the political landscape, providing weekly updated on key issues such as Brexit, conducting extensive research into a broad range of matters including competitor activity, in order to ensure the Managing and Senior Partner are up to date with all relevant information.

Furthermore, you will undertake social media analysis, prepare briefings for meetings and media interviews, draft and proof read press releases, and assist with writing letters to regulators and governmental bodies.

To secure this rare opportunity, you will need to possess a strong academic background, educated to degree level in a discipline such as PPE, Political Science or Economics.
Previous office support experience is essential, and exposure to the Accountancy sector would be ideal.

In order to thrive within this role, you will need the ability to distill complex information into layman's terms, an excellent standard of spoken and written English, the ability to think on your own initiative and always be 'one step ahead', as well as Advanced MS Office skills.

Roles like this do not come along every day, so if this you, apply now to avoid disappointment!
