An environmental consultancy based in the City is looking for a Finance Team Assistant. Looking for someone who has team assistant/administration experience and an interest in finance ideally.  Flexibility and versatility are essential for the nature of the role.

Finance Team Assistant Job purpose:

Providing proactive and professional administrative support to the Central Finance team ensuring the effective operation of the teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the team, including:

  • Scanning and manual filing of bank statements
  • Data entry, including setting up weekly payments
  • Uploading bank statements from to our accounting system across the 13 entities once a week.
  • Follow up with teams across the organization to assist with credit card reconciliations.
  • Administration of system new users/leavers.
  • Support with obtaining evidence for audits.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English;
  • Good computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as minimum);
  • Good attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Flexibility and a capacity to prioritize with changing demands;
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
  • Must have experience working as a team assistant previously
