You will be joining one of the educational establishments in the UK focusing on training, research, quality and advice to its vast member base in the healthcare. What does the role consist of?

The purpose of this role is to edit and prepare examination material.

Duties/responsibilities;

• editing examination questions and scenarios, and checking proofs on screen
• checking printed proofs of examination papers
• ensuring a high standard of grammar, spelling and punctuation
• ensuring clarity and accuracy
• maintaining consistency of style
• resolving any queries in collaboration with the Managing Editor and Examining Board and Secretaries

What will the successful candidate be like?

The ideal candidate should have excellent editorial skills and have experience working in a similar position or environment. They must have an eye for detail and be able to work efficiently to a high standard. They must be comfortable working on their own initiative, with little supervision.
