An internationally recognised children’s toy brand, based in Hertfordshire, require a permanent International Account Manager.  You will be working within an extremely friendly team, within a highly interesting industry, encouraged to use your initiative on a daily basis. The main focus of this role is to provide an exceptional account management service to a select portfolio of existing global clients, additionally:

The Role:

  • Developing current accounts; you will take over established accounts to manage and grow internationally
  • Responding promptly to clients email requests (due to time differences, occasionally out of office hours)
  • Be involved with the tendering and re bid process
  • Maintain and update Service Agreements
  • Client retention by dealing with issues quickly as they arise
  • Reprice requests & reviews
  • Assist with logistics queries
  • Constantly keeping abreast of market developments
  • Building professional long term relationships
  • Ability to bring strategic direction to the sales function
  • Negotiating business with national FMCG’s
  • Updating and maintain all client administration
     

The role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to work within an award winning highly successful business, working alongside a very friendly team. To be successful in this role you must have previous experience of successfully managing and developing client accounts;
 

Experience & Attributes:

  • ESSENTIAL: Track record of successfully managing client accounts
  • An outgoing, positive personality - you should be a people person naturally client service driven
  • Have good business consultancy skills and be solution and customer focused
  • Ideally based within the South East/Home Counties with no more than 1 hour drive from Harpenden, Hertfordshire.
  • Stable work history
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Time management and strong organisational qualities are essential as the position requires remote working. 

Highly Competitive Salary + discretionary bonus + Mobile Phone + laptop + 23 days holiday + free parking

Hours: 9 – 5.30pm
