A rare and unique opportunity to join a leading international consultancy, as Executive Assistant to an exceptionally busy, successful and long-tenured Partner.
This 1:1 role will be perfect for someone who is an outstanding organiser, and loves being a true "right- hand", down to the smallest details. This is a classic role, for you to entirely take control of a busy diary, very active inbox, and learn the ins and outs of projects, so that you can intelligently gate-keep. You will be the first port of call for clients all over the world and need to be able to demonstrate that you have been a successful developer of relationships in your previous Executive Assistant roles.
The Partner in question is renowned throughout the firm as an outstanding performer, passionate about the complex work undertaken for top performing international banks and financial services businesses. Often under immense pressure he travels heavily: he will be relying on you to be one step ahead at all times, whilst also being able to react to last minute requests and changes.
Although keen to involve his Executive Assistant, being warm and charismatic, the Partner needs to work with an Executive Assistant who understands that there is no time for errors – a meticulous person, with a keen eye for detail, and a pride in everything they do is the ideal fit here.

The large, engaged Executive Assistant community will welcome an assertive, warm and hardworking Executive Assistant, who is happy to take the reins for their boss, whilst also being open to working in a collegiate fashion with other EAs, as needed – everyone here has a "total team-player" mentality.
You will have charm, a sense of humour, and backbone in infinite measures – you will be happy to go the extra mile to ‘make it happen’ and, when something can’t be done, you will be able to push back sensitively. You will have supported at senior level (e.g. Director or above) in the finance/investment sector, at a consultancy, or in a large blue chip/corporate company.
Core hours will be 8am - 4:30pm
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Gate-keeping a relentlessly busy diary and attendant management of the Partner's inbox. Constant liaison with your peers client-side - helping your boss get into the schedules of some of the most in-demand executives in the banking industry
• Booking complex travel – covering and communicating every detail, ever-changing. Happy to assist with the personal touches (could mean
• Meeting arrangements, room bookings, ordering refreshments/lunch if needed
• Maintaining various lists and spreadsheets
• Direct Report meeting scheduling
• Help with presentations
• Expenses
• Inputting business cards
You will have a minimum 2:2 degree or equivalent. You will be happy to work independently, and in a quiet environment and must have previous experience within Financial Services – banking, investment or wealth management, asset management, private equity or hedge funds – Management Consultancies, or in large blue chip/corporate companies.
