Part-time (24-30 hrs. p/w)
Salary: £28,015 pa pro-rata
Location: London

We are looking for a skilled and organised PA to support our Chief Executive. It’s your chance to join an award-winning charity that has been supporting learning disabled people for over 50 years.

The Westminster Society provides a wide range of services for people with learning disabilities. Our mission is to provide quality services and create new opportunities for people with learning disabilities and their families.

As PA, you will be at the heart of our team, providing a first-class administrative service. You will provide support the Chief Executive as well as the Board and Senior Management Team. It’s a busy, varied role where you’ll be trusted with key duties: scheduling meetings, taking minutes and managing diaries. You’ll also produce documents, help with projects and create text for our website and newsletter. Every day, you’ll be working with senior figures at the charity’s highest level.

To join us, you need to be highly organised with excellent shorthand and typing skills. You’ll take pride in planning your work and delivering projects to deadlines. Strong office IT skills help you achieve your aims. These should cover design technology, Office 365 and Google applications. We’ll also be looking for A-levels (or equivalent) and a keen eye for detail. Precise and numerate, you’ll be good at presenting data clearly. Meanwhile, a natural gift for dealing with people means you can work with contacts across and outside the charity.

Please note that hours are flexible. We’ll consider your application if you wish to work term time only. However, you must be available to work within our committee’s quarterly cycle.

Closing date:  Friday 9th December 2016

Interviews are expected to be held in the week commencing:  19th December 2016
