Senior HR Consultant

£35,000 to £45,000 p.a.

18 month Maternity Contract

Is your forte assisting companies to develop robust and practical HR Solutions, particularly using your expertise to make them more commercially focussed?

As a Senior HR Consultant in a leading accountancy firm, based in stunning central London offices, you will be assisting with the development of their HR Consulting Services to a number of clients in a wide range of sectors.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Client Services - undertake HR audits and reviews at the clients site to determine risks and liabilities. Use your expertise to ensure, communication, documentation, processes and requirements are accurate and efficiently maintained; undertaking HR reviews deign, develop and deliver Organisational Development (OD) projects
  • Business Development - proactively market HR services
  • HR & OD - assist with growth of good practices within teams, develop awareness of current OD models
  • Technical Administration - keep up to date with employment legislation & developments, provide technical support, produce written communication on current HR topics, ensure documents & templates are accurate and compliant etc.

If you are a consummate professional with excellent communication skills, are able to develop excellent working relationships, maintain the highest professional conduct at all times and provide a first class service to all your clients, be approachable and able to make members of your team and others feel at ease you could be the next important member of their team. Team work is extremely important so you will need to be able to cooperate and collaborate with peers whilst also learning from more experienced colleagues.

Being a member of the CIPD is a must, and to really add value to your clients have in depth knowledge of providing complex HR and employment law advice within the UK, experience at a senior HR Advisor/ Business Partner level and working across a range of sectors with written advice on a range of HR and employment law matters, identifying options and associated risks.

To be successful, you will be driven, determined, personable, discreet, have high attention to detail and experience within a HR role, but also be able to demonstrate that you are commercially aware.
