Our client, a renowned Engineering Consultancy based in the City, are looking for an experienced Administrator who has come from a Engineering, Property or Construction background assist three of their teams. You must have good attention to detail, be highly organised and have good Microsoft Office skills, Adobe experience would be a bonus.

The Role
  • Formatting and creation of project and marketing/bid documentation including occasional mail merges.
  • Occasional marking up of design drawings (training will be given)
  • Organising travel arrangements, including booking flights, rail tickets and hotels.
  • Liaising with internal/external clients and other third parties in order to organise and book meetings.
  • Processing of expense claims for Section Leaders
  • Scheduling of meeting and some marking events.
  • Ensuring client contact database is kept up-to-date.
  • Ensuring that the QA System is followed at all times.
  • Any other ad-hoc admin duties that may be required.

The Person

  • Experience providing team support within Property, Construction or Engineering
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and Adobe.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Must be proactive, able to use own initiative and possess a flexible attitude to the workload.
  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must possess a helpful and professional attitude, as well as a personable and friendly manner.
  • Conscientious approach with eye for detail.
  • Previous knowledge of the construction industry would be desirable.
