£25-£28k pro rata

Part Time Permanent role

3 days per week (9-5.30pm)

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a friendly and hard working team. Ideally you will be degree educated (not essential), and have 2-3 years experience in a similar role.

Main purpose of role:

To manage the timely collection of money owed by customers

Reporting to Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Chase all invoices by telephone before they become overdue
• Chase all overdue invoices
• Place on stop accounts with 60+ debt where there is no valid query
• Take Direct Debits and Credit Card payments
• Send statements
• Respond to internal and external queries within 1 day

• Maintain accurate and timely records

Practical Requirements:

• Ideally a minimum of 3 years credit control experience required
• Strong MS office including confidence with Excel
• Educated to degree level (not essential)
• Excellent communication skills
• Hard working team player
• An individual able to adapt and grow within the business
