Our client, a UK and international leading publishing group whose portfolio includes award winning global conferences, summits and events, have an immediate requirement for talented sales professionals to join their vibrant events sales team.

Delegate Sales Executive - The role:

Working as a Delegate Sales Executive, it will be your role to secure new delegates, grow attendance and build business relationships through promoting high profile conferences and events to senior level executives in the UK, Europe, America and Asia.

Delegate Sales Executive - Key responsibilities:

Direct selling features and benefits of each event to the client database
Liaising with the marketing team to plan on going activity for each event.
Cross selling across other company events
Researching and understanding the industry sectors you are covering
Updating the CRM system with detailed notes on each contact and diarising follow ups.
Building strong relationships with delegates
Report daily on progress and feedback on calls made to clients.
Registration of delegates against weekly targets.

Delegate Sales Executive - Key skills:

Strong sales skills and experience preferably obtained within a professional B2B environment
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
Proven ability to communicate with senior level decision makers
Self-motivated, Team player and driven to hit targets
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in a fast paced environment
