Senior Private PA required to assist an UHNW family with all of their private affairs.  Candidates must have extensive experience working at this level, be extremely organized and efficient but also have a warm and caring nature to fit in with the family and the rest of their team.  Based from the husband’s office in W1, there will be frequent visits to their 2 London properties as well as other London locations to complete tasks and on occasion further afield. 

Candidates must have experience of overseeing large teams – as well as the London homes, there are other properties overseas all of which are fully staffed and there is a Junior PA working alongside you. 


Hours:                  8.30am – 6pm, Monday to Friday with some out of hours contact

Location:              NW3

Salary:                  £50k+, dependent on experience

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

PA support

  • Keeping ID up to date including passports/ driver’s licences
  • Ensuring invoices paid on time
  • Parking tickets and permits
  • Maintaining diaries and ensuring all correct and all informed
  • Birthdays and gift buying
  • Dealing with correspondence including invitations
  • Ensuring they are both fully updated and this communicated
  • Maintain list of private club memberships, look for new ideas
  • Family stationery
  • Assisting with art acquisitions/ framing/ insurance
  • Assisting with jewellery acquisition/ insurance




  • Gift reminders, present suggestions, purchasing, wrapping
  • Christmas Hampers
  • Rosh Hashanah cards and gifts required
  • General shopping


  • Sourcing tutors, booking dates if needed and arranging payment
  • Keeping diary up to date with children’s arrangements
  • Things to do on weekends and school holidays


  • Booking holidays
  • Logging all travel ideas from the family and working out the best time to go so that they can do the things they want to do
  • Liaising with travel agents
  • Ensuring holidays run seamlessly by meticulously going through with arrangements and liaising with agents
  • Ensuring holidays are a highlight and planning so time is maximised and well spent


  • Project managing events as required
  • Liaise with event organisers, management of guest lists and invitations etc


  • Working with property manager and household staff to ensure houses are well kept
  • Point of contact for boat crew / chalet staff
  • Working with staff to prepare properties for family visits
  • Assisting family with any ad hoc projects that arise


  • Tickets
  • Proactive ideas on things to do – working with Assistant PA

Management of staff

  • Annual reviews
  • Proactive review of existing support and identification of any updates required of job descriptions/ additional support etc.
  • Managing household staff
  • Manage Assistant Family PA
  • Logging holiday
  • Communicating schedules
  • Recruitment of household staff including drafting job descriptions, checking market rate for roles, reference checking, contract negotiation

Candidates must be / have:

  • At least 3 years’ PA experience 
  • Very strong administrative skills
  • IT skills; Outlook, Word
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Efficient and well organized
  • Flexible
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Quick thinking with lots of initiative
  • Confident and thick skinned
  • A calm, discreet and unflappable nature
  • Well-presented and well spoken
