Since Octopus was launched in 2000 it's been our goal to have a positive impact, both for our customers and to the world outside. Yes, we are a fund management business, so strong investment performance and good returns are important to us - as they are for our customers. But just as important is making our customers feel part of something special. We want to invest their money where it can help them, their families and the broader economy. We're showing investors how their money can truly make a difference.

Today, Octopus has more than 500 employees and over £6 billion in assets under management. We work with tens of thousands of customers and we've built market-leading positions in tax-efficient investments, smaller company financing, renewable energy and healthcare. We focus on areas where we can make the most impact, whether it's the number of new jobs our portfolio companies create, the GP surgeries, care homes and retirement villages we help to develop, or the amount of electricity generated by our renewable energy business.
