Our Hospitality client is looking for a Membership Secretary to be the main point of contact for one of their high profile Clubs in Central London. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, good attention to detail and be exceptionally well organised. They will be part of the Membership team made up of the Membership Director, Membership Manager, Membership Secretary and Membership Assistant.

Main Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for all Membership enquiries via phone, e mail and letter
  • Management of all administration relating to payment of annual subscriptions
  • Accurate allocation of payments to individual Members
  • Management of Waiting Lists
  • Answering of all new Member enquiries
  • Responsibility for ensuring all Member details are correct and accurate to the best of knowledge
  • Assist Membership Director
  • Attending monthly Members Drinks and other Member events as required
  • Administration relating to the Committee
  • Representing Clubs at external events as required

Skills and personal attributes - Necessary

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Database experience
  • Excellent Computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Personable and ability to work in a small, very busy, process driven team
  • Sense of humour
