My client, a successful fast placed global advisory company are looking for an AV Technician to join their team ASAP.  You will run, support and maintain the AV equipment and interact with clients on a daily basis.  You will be immaculately presented, have customer service experience and be able to communicate with clients of all levels. You will be results-oriented, a self-motivator and comfortable with dealing with high end clients.

Key responsibilities on site will be:

  • Ensure all meeting room requests requiring audio visual equipment are completed in good time prior to meetings commencing
  • Provide a 5* seamless front of house service
  • Ensure meeting room requests requiring AV equipment are set up in good time prior to meetings starting
  • Train and demonstrate AV equipment to users as required and have the ability to translate technical requirements into clear instructions for non-technical users
  • Provide assistance during meetings when things don’t run to plan
  • Run tests on AV equipment, logging any faults
  • Work closely with the front of house team
  • Liaise with clients and visitors
  • Prepare usage statistics to management
  • Follow procedures for security/storage and maintenance
  • Provide training and demonstrations to users as required
  • To work closely with reception/room bookings in respect of AV requests
  • Organise video and audio conference calls and monitor usage statistics
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication
  • Check in guests throughout the day

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High customer service skills
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Strong IT skills
  • The ability to work on own initiative and in a team
