Well established luxury emporium are looking for an administrator for the inventory team.
To support the Inventory Manager in analysing and understanding the segmentation of the inventory, identifying and categorising stock and administering a major disposal programme through liaison with specialist Departments and with clients whose property should be returned or disposed of on their behalf.
Responsibilities
*Developing and maintaining inventory analysis metrics in order to understand inventory segmentation, understand the flow of inventory through the business and to prioritise inventory decision-making.
*Compiling inventory reports to demonstrate trends and changes in the segmented inventory over time, with a particular emphasis on monitoring and driving stock disposal progress.
*Alongside the other departmental assistant, administering the routine stock check programme, ensuring that checks are carried out on time, and then initiating follow-up action where necessary to resolve anomalies.
Qualifications
*Ideally a BA/BSc in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related subject is preferred,or relevant experience will be considered.
*Strong analytical skills are essential, coupled with the ability to present results clearly and simply.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a diplomatic approach are a pre-requisite.
*Ability to learn quickly and to work both independently and as a team member to complete tasks.
*The ability to use Microsoft Excel is essential, and familiarity with the remaining Microsoft Office automation tools would be an advantage.
*Prior experience of working with SAP would also be an advantage.
