We are excited to announce the launch of our annual salary survey – a questionnaire that helps our audience benchmark their salaries and provides us with an insight into the working lives of PAs, EAs and office support professionals.
Every year, we ask our audience to give us details of their working lives – ranging from job title and location to industry sector and earnings. This information forms the basis of our annual Salary Insight Report.

Among key findings from the 2018 report was the positive discovery that candidates who found their role through SecsintheCity earnt an average salary of £41,598, which is 23% higher than those who found work elsewhere.
Another finding was that 47% of all respondents received a bonus in 2018, with 25% of candidates taking home an extra 10% or more in addition to their basic salary.
EAs were found to be the most privileged of all – with average salary rising by 7% year-on-year, and 64% of EAs receiving a bonus.
Whilst there were some celebrated successes, the salary imbalances between single and multi-support roles represented a definite area of concern. 50% of our 2018 audience stated that they supported more than 3 people, but these candidates were earning an average of £4,000 less than their single-support peers.
