Qualified Masseuse/ House Attendant – South Of France
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a beautiful part of the world this Spring and Summer.
Based at an exclusive villa in St. Jean Cap Ferrat, South of France, my client requires a Masseuse/ seasonal House Attendant to work for 6 months - starting 1st April 2017.
The property is a beautiful seven bedroom Mediterranean style villa, set in 7.5 hectares of grounds with swimming pool, tennis courts, gardens etc. It is the holiday residence of a Principal who visits throughout the Spring/Summer months with family and friends. There are also several other European properties and yachts where you will be required to provide massage at very short notice.
The client is looking for a qualified Masseuse with excellent experience in massage therapies to provide massage to him and his guests when in residence. With an emphasis on Swedish massage and new muscular therapy, but also able to provide general massage treatments. Massage takes priority and it will be your responsibility to keep the massage rooms and machinery clean, well -stocked and a very pleasant place to receive treatments.
When not working as a Masseuse, the role is to provide general domestic assistance to the Housekeeping team, including help with cleaning and laundry care, assisting with food and beverage services and helping with setting up events etc. High standards and a keen eye for detail are paramount, as well as being adaptable, responsible and reliable at all times, able to follow instructions and well presented. You must also be able to work in a team.
I am looking for an individual who speaks FLUENT English with previous experience working in a similar role within a HNWI household, luxury hotel or yacht. Candidates must be qualified in massage therapies with at least three years’ experience, as well as high end housekeeping and service skills.
You will need to find your own accommodation close by and arrange your own transport, although the House Manager can advise. Nice is the closest major destination.
Mostly working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, but then transferring to shift patterns when guests are in residence or if massage is required out of hours. While hours worked are logged, flexibility for this role is a must (all over time given back in lieu). Training and uniform will be provided. Candidates must be comfortable around animals.
To start on the 1st April 2017 under a French contract.
