Business Development Associate

This role is a Business Development Associate role working for a large family office based in the West End. This role reports to the Group Head of Business Development and involves close and regular interaction with all members of divisions and offices. They are looking for someone with a few years’ experience within a sales environment, the finance industry or a business development role. They are looking for someone with excellent inter-personal skills and highly organised.

Duties

• Regular monitoring and tracking of new business wins across the family office and investment management divisions of the group.
• Reporting on a weekly basis to the CEO and on a monthly basis to the group, in addition to ad hoc reports over the course of the year  
• Assist group head of business development and group finance with securing individual and office targets, create monthly reports
• Schedule meetings, produce meeting packs, diarise and minute monthly
• Produce bespoke pitch presentations for potential new client meetings, including collating slides from multiple divisions within the firm.
• Assist with the development of new internal CRM software and overseeing its uptake across the group

Qualifications

• Degree educated
• Experience of working within an international environment
• Experience in a similar role, in financial services sales/new business generation
• Understanding of UHNW market

• Confidently liaise with senior management across all divisions and jurisdictions of the group
• Ability to manage Business Development database effectively and produce regular reports across all offices/internationally
• Exceptional organisation skills
• Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills
• Proactive with ability to work and make decisions on your own
• Helpful attitude and flexibility to support other areas of the business on occasion
