HR Advisor - global insurance company

A global insurance company with a positive working culture is seeking an HR Advisor and showcase your strong HR skills gained from your work experience to date. This is a wonderful role for someone with generalist HR experience to work for a collaborative, team focused and hugely motivated HR team. Experience of working within another HR team with a global remit is expected for this role to ensure you can hit the ground running!

Duties will include:

  • Providing advice to all staff on HR operations; including keeping accurate records, supporting with both new joiners and leavers which will include chairing the induction day and exit interviews.
  • Support with benefits administration; maintaining third party relationships and ensuring accurate records.
  • Manage absences, maternity/paternity, adoption, flexible working requests, holiday and sickness records.
  • Support with HR audits and year end salary and bonus reviews.
  • Being the super used of the core HR system ensuring that all users, IT and the service provider have a 'go to' person available.
  • Prepare HR reports for management on an ad hoc basis.

You would describe yourself as someone who supports change and is comfortable probing current processes to ensure that the HR team are agile, able to adapt to change and enjoy liaising with stakeholders at all levels. You are practical in your approach to HR, are anticipatory and adopt a coaching/mentoring style with your team. Experience of line managing an administrator would be welcomed; however a willingness to take this on and support career development would be expected in this role.
